Bottom Bay Beach

I recently visited Bottom Bay Beach in Barbados while staying with a friend who works for a construction company in Palmetto Bay. The beach is breathtaking to say the least.

 

I never expected to see this coming here. It’s like something out of a fairy tale. The beach itself seems to have fallen away from the landmass and sunk into the ocean… I’m sure there’s some kind of science to it but I can’t bring myself to care. Setting foot on the warm smooth sand feels amazing and gazing into a beautiful blue horizon surrounded by a fortress of cliff faces makes me feel safe and relaxed. I highly suggest you put this beach on your bucket list.
