IMG_2482 Rome. There may be bigger, older, or more historic cities in the world, but not many. Just looking at a map, the sheer size of the city is impressive, and the number of historical landmarks is unlike anything you will ever see in at home. From the Pantheon to Vatican City, every street fountain, building pillar, wall mural, and staircase railing shows just the kind of craftsmanship and decadence that went into every piece of the ancient city. Street performers dance and play music near the iconic Colosseum, as a crew prepares a large stage for a show of some kind. Sitting on the grass, eating gelato in the shadow of a building with such history, size, and architecture, you can just see what the city must have looked like in it’s prime. Colosseum
